Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy applies to Adelphos subscriptions and pay-as-you-go credit supplied by Jones and Hood Engineering Consultants Ltd, trading as Adelphos, company number SC618419.

Subscriptions

You may cancel a subscription through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues until then. The subscription will not renew after the effective cancellation date.

Fees already paid are not normally prorated or refunded merely because the Service was not used. We will correct duplicate charges and confirmed billing errors. We may also provide a proportionate refund or service credit where a material paid service was unavailable and no reasonable alternative was provided.

Pay-as-you-go credit

Unused pay-as-you-go credit may be refunded when requested within 14 days of purchase, provided none of that credit has been consumed and the purchase is not subject to fraud, chargeback or other restriction. Once any part of a credit lot has been used, that lot is non-refundable except where required by law or where we confirm a billing error.

Consumer rights

Adelphos is intended primarily for professional and business use. If you buy as a consumer, statutory cancellation and refund rights may apply. Where you request immediate access to digital services during a cancellation period, any refund may be reduced to reflect service already supplied, and rights relating to digital content may change after supply begins with the acknowledgements required by law. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.

How to request a refund

Email hello@adelphos.ai from the account email and include the Stripe receipt or invoice reference and the reason for the request. Do not send card details. We may verify account ownership and usage before deciding the request.

Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment method and financial institutions. Stripe may initially report a live refund as pending.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first so we can investigate. A chargeback or payment dispute may result in temporary suspension of the related entitlement while the payment status is resolved.
